SMALL GROUPS

Terranova
Mondays – 7:00 pm – Panera Bread

This Laid back, inter-generational group meets on Monday evenings at Panera Bread

Through the middle of October, we will be studying inSPIRE: Leaning into the Methodist Way.  Practices known as the “Five Pillars of the Methodist Way” or “Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations” are the basis for Cason United Methodist Church structure. This style of ministry ensures that each person is able to use the gift that God has given them right here at Cason.  We want to be in the business of stirring peoples’ imaginations and raising up ideas that will further God’s Kingdom.

Reflections
Sundays – 10:00 am – Cason Parlor

Now in case you’ve never investigated the little Upper Room magazine (copies available in the Fellowship Hall), it’s not “preachy”. Ordinary people from here and there… and across the seas…  suggest a short scripture and relate it to their life experience.

In the Parlor Sundays at 10:15 a.m. there are six or seven of “us” . . .  and the invisible presence of the seven other people whose reflections we’ve read during the week.  Conversation flows around the stories and scripture that had special relevance to anyone in the group who wishes to share.
