We are nearing the deadline to submit a name or names for leadership for Family Promise in 2020. With Barbara Johnston & Katie Knight both stepping down, pray about stepping up in 2020. This a wonderful mission that reaches out to homeless families, keeping them off the street. Family Promise of South Palm Beach County believes that every child deserves a home. We empower families in making their transition from homelessness to sustainable independence. We are an organization that depends on approximately 1,200 active volunteers representing 20 interfaith congregations to accomplish our objectives of providing temporary shelter, food, life skills education and other individual assessments so that they receive the appropriate services.

Cason has been a proud Host Congregation for Family Promise for almost a decade.  Be an answer to prayer for homeless families –sign-up to volunteer during our next family promise host week! Volunteers are the heart of Family Promise. Through your service, we provide emergency shelter , meals and other assistance to homeless families for about one- third the cost of traditional shelters. Family Promise keeps families together in a safe and supportive environment. In order to fulfill our “Promise” to them, every day of the hosting week, we will need people to prepare dinners, be social hosts and  stay overnight with our guests. Sign-up sheets will be posted in the Fellowship Hall the 2 weeks prior to each host week.
If you have never volunteered and would like to learn more, watch this short video about volunteering with Family Promise, then complete the form below:
