At Cason, we seek to provide a safe place where all children feel welcomed and loved. By providing varied age-appropriate opportunities rooted in Loving God, Sharing Jesus, and Growing in Faith, we invite all children and their families to join us on this journey of Christian discipleship.
In all of our activities and endeavors, we aim to model and encourage children in a life based on Jesus’ teaching to “love The Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, and with all your mind…and love your neighbor as yourself”. (Matt. 22:37-39)
We offer a variety of worship and learning experiences for your little ones, from birth through
3rd grade, during our Sunday morning services at 9:30, 11:00. We also offer Sunday and Wednesday evening Children’s programming.
Our Nursery
A nursery is available on Sunday morning for children, newborn through 3 years old, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.  We have wonderful paid nursery coordinator so that children will have consistency instead of having to adjust to a new person every time they go to the nursery.
Children’s Programming on Sunday Mornings
On Sunday mornings, we offer Children’s Church during the 9:15 and 11am services. Classes are split by Preschool, Kindergarten/1st Grade and 2nd/3rd Grade. A mix of fun and bible based learning awaits children each week.
The Bridge
Elementary children in 4th and 5th grade have their own special group, The Bridge. This ministry is designed to meet their specific needs, as well as offer them a comfortable transition from the Children’s Ministry to Ignite Student Ministry. The Bridge will provide Wednesday Night and Sunday Morning Classes as well as other exciting activities throughout the year.
We are committed to being a faith community that surrounds you and your child with love, care, nurture and hope. We pray you will find many opportunities for your child to grow in their spiritual journey here at Cason United Methodist.

We are a Safe Sanctuaries Congregation!

The General conference of the United Methodist Church, in April 1996, and the Florida Annual Conference, in June 2004, adopted resolutions aimed at reducing the risk of abuse of children and youth in the church. This would include sexual, emotional, physical and ritual abuse and neglect.

The purpose for establishing our Child Protection Policy and Procedures is to demonstrate our absolute and unwavering commitment to the physical safety and spiritual growth in all of our children and youth in the church. In all of our ministries with children and youth, our congregation is committed to demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ so that each child and youth will be “surrounded by steadfast love, established in the faith and confirmed and strengthened in the way that leads to life eternal”.

Child Protection Policy Trainings are held regularly. Background Checks are done on all staff and volunteers who work with our children/youth at the church. Please contact David Schmidt or the church office for more information.
