Cason UMC currently meets monthly on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 11:30 am. We begin with lunch, a program and then a business meeting. We are also in the process of creating "circle groups" that will meet monthly in member's homes for fellowship, mission education, spiritual development and prayer concerns. Circles offer opportunities to women that have similar interests in service and gives each group an opportunity to meet on a day or time that is best for that group. Circle groups may come together quarterly as an entire unit to share what they are doing and to enjoy fellowship together. It is our goal to expand membership to as many women as possible at Cason UMC. Please contact Nancy Reames or Mabel McDonough if you are interested in joining a circle.
Breakfast with Santa
Cason UMW has several fundraiser events annually to support our missions. In the Spring we have our Luncheon/Fashion Show. In the Fall we have our annual Christmas Bazaar. This is a great Christmas shopping event. We have booths for baked goods, attic treasurers, Thanksgiving table, crafts and accessories - plus we have great food for sale for lunch.
Our 2012 proceeds went to Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Orlando, Global Love In Action (missionary in Ecuador), AVDA (Aid to Victims of Abuse in Delray Beach) and Wycliff Bible Translators (translates bibles into languages of remote countries that have not heard the Good News). 100% of paid pledges go to the United Methodist Women Conference as our commitment to their Global Missions.
