"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17

Even before John Wesley made small group ministry a foundation of the United Methodist Church, Jesus and his disciples were a small group who supported one another, studied scripture, prayed and worshipped, and performed missional service.   At Cason, we believe that life is better when you are connected. Small groups are not only one of the best ways to learn more about a topic of interest, but also to get to know and for relationships with other church members. No matter the subject, small groups ensure that everyone has a chance share a point of view, to share from their own experiences and to ask questions in an open atmosphere free from judgement. It is by learning to be loving and compassionate with other Christians that allows us to carry God’s grace and forgiveness to the hurting and oppressed all around us.

Cason has a number of Small Groups. Some have been going on for a long time, some are new.
Join a small group and make some new friends, join some old friends and create your own small group.

Whether we’ve felt spiritually stale or devoured by doubts, we’ve all wanted God to renew us. But what does spiritual restoration even look like?

The book of Nehemiah tells the story of God’s power to restore his people. As Israel returned from exile to the Promised Land, they found the walls of Jerusalem in shambles. So God equipped Nehemiah to rebuild the wall and lead the discouraged Israelites. In this 10-session series, Dr. Eric Mason shows us how God renewed his people both physically and spiritually. Through the story of Israel’s plight and God’s faithfulness, we see how God preserved his people to carry out his mission of redemption.

Patti Alexander and Pastor David

In this dynamic series,  author Francis Chan reminds us of the true source of the church's power—the Holy Spirit. Chan contends that we've ignored the Spirit for far too long, and that without Him, we operate in our own strength, only accomplishing human-sized results.

This seven-session video resource offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Holy Spirit's direction in our lives. It is designed to initiate and facilitate discussion, interaction and practical application of the message of Forgotten God.
